PintPath Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 16, 2026 · Last updated: May 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PintPath ("we", "us", "the App") collects, how it's used, and your rights. PintPath is published by Brad Goldenberg. Contact: edwardgoldenberg@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

Identifiers used for advertising

PintPath uses Google AdMob to display ads. To deliver personalized ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), a coarse approximation of your location derived from your IP address, and ad-interaction data (which ads you've seen and tapped). On iOS, the App will request your permission via the system "App Tracking Transparency" prompt before this identifier is used to track you across apps; if you decline, only non-personalized contextual ads are shown. The Google Mobile Ads SDK also collects device performance data (app launch time, hang rate, energy usage) and crash logs to ensure ads render correctly. See Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure document for full details on AdMob's data practices.

Purchases

In-app purchases (including the PintPath Pro subscription) are processed by Apple App Store. We do not see or store your payment details. Receipts are validated through the platform's StoreKit APIs and through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymized subscriber identifier and your purchase receipt; it does not receive your name, email, or payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more.

Location

The App requests location access ("When In Use") so it can show you bars and beer prices within a half mile of where you're standing. Your precise location is used only on-device to compute distance to nearby venues; it is not transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → PintPath.

How We Use Information

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share data only with the third-party services listed above (each linked to its own privacy policy):

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California, similar laws elsewhere) you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at edwardgoldenberg@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

PintPath is intended for users of legal drinking age (21+ in the US, 18+ in most other jurisdictions). It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. The App includes an age gate on first launch to prevent underage access. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention

The App does not maintain user accounts on our servers, so we retain no personal data ourselves. Anonymized subscriber identifiers held by RevenueCat are retained for the lifetime of your subscription plus the period required for compliance and refund handling.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
